What to do when you get a new marking machine

1. Check the equipment: First, check whether the marking machine is intact and whether there are any missing parts or accessories.

2. Read the manual: Carefully read the user manual or operating guide that comes with the marking machine. This typically contains basic information for installation, setup, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the equipment.

3. Installation and setup:

a. Location selection: Choose a stable and ventilated place to place the marking machine, avoid direct sunlight, and ensure that there is no strong magnetic field interference around it.

b. Power connection: Make sure the power connection is stable and meets the power requirements of the device.

c. Initial setup: Follow the instructions in the manual for initial setup, which may include language selection, date and time settings, network connection, etc.

4. Familiar with the operation: Before officially starting to use it, take some time to become familiar with the various functions and operations of the marking machine. Learn how to enter label information, adjust print settings, and use software or other supporting tools.

Check the waterway and circuit before turning on the machine. The boot sequence is:

① Turn on the incoming power and turn on the key switch. At this time, the ventilation and cooling system of the machine is energized, and the ammeter shows a value of about 7A;

② Wait for 5 to 10 seconds, press the trigger button on the external control panel, the ammeter shows a value of zero, after 3 to 5 seconds, the krypton lamp is lit, and the ammeter shows a value of 7A. (Refer to the laser power supply operation manual);

③ Turn on the power of the galvanometer;

④ Turn on the computer and call up the required marking file;

⑤ Adjust the laser power supply to the working current (10-18A), and then start marking;

After marking, turn off the power of each component in reverse in the above order:

① Adjust the working current of the laser power supply to the minimum (about 7A);

② Turn off the computer;

③ Turn off the power of the galvanometer;

④ Press the stop button;

⑤ Turn off the key switch;

⑥ Disconnect the incoming power.

5. Trial run: Before it is officially used for production or commercial use, a trial run is carried out. This can help you make sure your device is functioning properly and become familiar with the actual printing process.

6. Maintenance and safety: Understand and follow the maintenance plan of the equipment to ensure its long-term stable operation. Additionally, make sure to follow all safety guidelines when operating your marking machine to avoid potential danger or injury.

7. Backup and support: If possible, back up the device’s software and related drivers. Also, find out if the manufacturer offers online or phone support so you can get help quickly if you need it.

8. Train employees: If other people will be using this marking machine, make sure they are also properly trained and understand how to operate the equipment safely and effectively.

9. Periodic evaluation: Periodically evaluate the performance of your marking machine over time to ensure it meets your needs and expectations. If you encounter any problems or challenges, seek solutions promptly.

Precautions For The Use Of Laser Marking Machine

1. The laser marking machine should be used as far as possible in a dust-free, 10°C-35°C environment, keeping the optics dry and dust-free. Usually it is necessary to ensure a separate closed workshop, to ensure indoor constant temperature, to have floor paint or tiles on the ground, and to install air conditioners;

2. The customer must provide the main power supply to support at least 2500W AC single-phase power supply, and the main power cord of the equipment provided by our company must be installed on an air switch for protection, and the use of triangular plugs is strictly prohibited;

3. The main power supply provided by the customer must have a ground wire, and virtual connection is strictly prohibited.

4. The cooling water in the circulating water tank is best to use deionized water. If there is no deionized water, it can be replaced by distilled water; the circulating cooling water should be replaced in time after a period of use (it is recommended to change the water at least once every two weeks), so as not to affect the laser efficiency.
